Thomas is a UK Racket Stringers Association qualified racket stringer using a high-quality Ashaway machine to ensure reliable stringing. Every racket strung is logged to keep a record of the string and tension selected so that future re-strings can be the same again if you liked it or tweaked a little for your preferences. Strings are a critical yet often neglected part of your racket! As a general rule of thumb, the average number of times you play a week is how many times a year you should get your racket re-strung. Strings do not necessarily have to break to need replacing as all strings will lose their elasticity and performance deteriorates over time. He stocks all major squash string brands including Tecnifibre, Ashaway, Unsquashable plus others. Specific strings can be ordered in upon request. A racket bumper replacement service is available upon request – note this can only be done at the time of re-stringing. The price range of the strings is typically between £16-20 depending on the string. Bumpers are approximately £8-12 depending on the brand and P&P.
